Night Player
Android BETA v0.0.5
Description
A free, full-featured music player designed primarily for the bedside (sleep
timer with auto-fade), but also for the car (includes a "big button" interface),
listening to audio books (you won't lose your bookmark when you select a
different playlist), podcasts (skip ahead and back by the number of seconds you
set), and much, much more (note the extra "much"; it must be good!) .A simple note-taking feature allows you to jot down those brilliant
nocturnal ideas without leaving the program.
A "song-mark" feature allows you to save the current song and time with a note.
The shuffle mode and current song location is tracked for each playlist, so you
can resume a playlist where you last left it.

You must set your Android device to accept apps from "unknown sources" before
it will install.
Download or copy the "NightPlayer2.apk" file to your Android device (v1.6 or
later). Run it (use a file explorer and tap on it), and it will self-install.
Updates are installed the same way.
v0.0.1 (28 Oct 2011)
v0.0.2 (02 Nov 2011)
- Added volume control. The song timer bar can be changed to a volume control using the menu.
The volume only affects the player, and is remembered, whether the volume control is shown or not.
It also affects the timer bar in the Song Details display.
- Made the Play, Next, and Prev button labels bigger and prettier.
v0.0.3 (03 Nov 2011)
- Added more info to the Song Details display; date added and file size.
Slightly re-organized the display.
- Made the playlist text prettier and easier to read.
v0.0.4 (11 Nov 2011)
- You can now play, pause, and choose a song from the Song List screen.
Current song is always highlighted. Song List screen also honors the selected
background, and shows the fast-scroll thumb if the playlist has more than 31
items.
- Fixed album art and info occasionally failing to immediately update when
returning to the main screen.
- Song list opens so that current song is displayed.
- Added first-time popup help to more screens.
- Added "Export Playlist" to settings. You can send the list via Email,
or save it to your SD card as a formatted web page file. (Note: The email app
you use may truncate the list).
v0.0.5 (16 Nov 2011)
- Moved the "Big Buttons" button next to the "Songs" button, as they both go
to a different screen.
- Prettified the font on some more buttons, and made some of them two lines of
text for clarity.
- Increased the font size of song time.
